Digital Art
As a self-proclaimed geek-girl, it’s no wonder that my love for digital photography, digital design and creativity have found a way to connect. It really all came together for me in the Fall of 2006 when I bought my MacBook Pro. Until that time I had been doing paper scrapbooks and art, but found it cumbersome and time consuming. My Mac appealed to the gadget lover in me and through that I found a new avenue to express my creativity. I started with digital scrapbooking. This lead to me having to buy a Digital SLR camera, which lead to Photoshop, which lead to countless hours behind the computer and books and online tutorials. I’m no expert, and I learn every day. But I enjoy what I do. I love to take a photograph and make it my own. There are really three main categories that my art falls into: Photography, Digital Scrapbooking and Cards & Invitations. As my family makes a move to the state of Washington I hope to get an opportunity to spend a lot of time photographing landscapes and macro. I’ve been doing some of this already and really enjoy it. Below are some of my favorite shots.
