Where is our summer going?

June 29, 2009

So, earlier this month I promised to get a bunch of blog pictures up…. Guess I didn’t do so well on that. This summer is flying by before our eyes. Between the three of us, we’ve been so busy! It’s been fun, but now that the heat is settling in to Oklahoma, I’m ready for it to cool down just a bit!

To get everyone caught up, here are some pictures from the last few weeks. **Warning – LOTS of Photos Ahead!**

So summer officially begins with a graduation. Shane graduated from K-State this year and we were all very proud of him. Matt, Reaghan and I drove up to Dad’s Friday night and then we all went over to Manhattan early Saturday morning.

Here are some pics from our day:

Yea, Uncle Shane! After the graduation we had a little gathering where Shane works in Aggieville. There was a fun alley in the back so we took a few pictures:

We’re so proud of you Shane!!

Next up in May was Reaghan’s Kindergarten Graduation from The Children’s Place. It was really cute and bittersweet because Reaghan has been at The Children’s Place (the learning center at the hospital) since she was 3 months old! We have loved all of Reaghan’s teachers there. Wow, class of 2021… sounds so funny! Remember chanting on the bus on the way home from games? ’93, ’93, we’re the class of ’93… What does their chant sound like??

That same weekend, Reaghan and I went to Tulsa to spend some time with Kristin. Elyse ended up being sick, but Ethan, Kristin, Reaghan and I all went to stay at a hotel that had a fun little pool area. The kids had a great time and it was fun to catch up with Kristin.

Last, but not least in May, Reaghan’s dance studio had their year-end production. This year was Snow White. Reaghan’s class played “Enchanted Trees” in the forrest. One of the things they did was watch over Snow White when she was lost and crying in the forrest. Reaghan did great. I was really impressed with all the dancers! Here are some of my favorite pictures.

So, that was our May! June slowed down a bit, but I’m sure I can come up with something to write about in the next few days!
